Searching for a New Job…

…is automated now, of course. Aside from the biggie general job search companies, however, two specialized search sites for legal-related positions are worth a look.

My fave is lawcrossing.com, which boasts about having "the largest collection of active legal jobs in the world."  Another good legal job search site is corporatelawyerjobs.com which claims it is "the most widely used job board among Corporate Lawyers."

I really like features of lawcrossing such as a quick return to your original job query. On corporatelawyerjobs, you have to input your query over again after viewing posted jobs. In addition, lawcrossing displays employer street addresses & websites, but corporatelawyerjobs has few addresses listed.

Of course, if you live in a city or region with a strong Craigslist presence, you might also find a number of legal jobs posted there.

Let me know how you search for a new job! Ask friends? Check with colleagues? Read newspaper ads? Use the Internet?
