"Local attorneys have a problem.
"Apparently, they can’t find enough qualified people to fill open paralegal positions in their offices.
"Susan Howery, dean of Yavapai College‘s Prescott Valley Campus, and Ruth Harrison, director of the college’s paralegal program, said during an interview Monday that their inability to help the local legal community is getting frustrating.
"Recently, the two have received so many calls and e-mails asking for help finding paralegals, they can’t meet all the requests.
"’I used to worry that I wouldn’t be able to find jobs for people,’ said Howery, who was the college’s paralegal program director for 11 years. ‘Now, I worry that I can’t find people for jobs.’"
